According to the investor’s requirements, the area should have been turned into an architecture atelier with two separate offices and an open-space area with 5 – 7 working places.
Together with two boardrooms (one for 12 and another 6 – 8 people), there was supposed to be a lobby with the reception and a waiting room for short time use for the clients, kitchenette, toilet units and an area for server, Xerox machine, plotter and other devices.
The entrance was planned as both an art gallery and a project gallery for the projects performed by the company. They are exhibited in tall glass panels on the right hand side and they are discretely lit by the floor lighting.
Instead of walls, or some other partitions, both boardrooms and the individual offices are separated by glass walls. In this way, the area seems visually open and much larger and if there is a need for discretion, in case of business meetings, it can be achieved panel-curtains.
